Paint falling and damage Stencils

Reusable metal stencil for airbrushing realistic paint chipping and damage effects on scale model vehicles, aircraft, ships, and Gunpla. The pattern recreates the look of worn, age-cracked paint and impact damage — far faster and more controlled than hand-painting chips one by one.

The 80×80mm stainless steel sheet works across all common scales: 1/16, 1/24, 1/32, 1/35, 1/48, 1/72, and 1/100. Cleans easily with water or thinner, so you can reuse it across dozens of builds.

Works great for:

• Tank and AFV weathering — chipped paint on edges, hatches, and high-wear surfaces
• Aircraft weathering — paint wear on leading edges, walkways, and panel lines
• Ship and naval models — peeling paint and rust damage on hulls

How to use:

1. Apply your base color and let it fully cure
2. Tape the stencil to the area you want to weather with masking tape
3. Airbrush a contrasting color (rust brown, dark grey, or bare metal silver) over the stencil
4. Remove carefully — repeat in different positions for natural variation
5. Seal with a matt clear topcoat to lock in the effect
