Reusable metal stencil for the distinctive German ambush camouflage — the disc pattern used on late-war Panzer, Panther, Tiger I, and Tiger II tanks from 1944 onwards. Painting this disc-pattern camo freehand at 1/35 scale is genuinely difficult; this stencil makes it achievable.

Available in two pattern variants (AJ0021 and AJ0023) or both together — each variant has a different disc arrangement, so combining them on a single model gives you the kind of natural pattern variation real wartime camouflage actually displayed. 80×80mm stainless steel reusable.

Choose your variant:

  • AJ0021: first disc pattern variant
  • AJ0023: second disc pattern variant
  • AJ0021 + AJ0023: both stencils together — best for layered authentic camouflage

Works great for:

  • Late-war German Panzer models — Tiger I, Tiger II, Panther, Panzer IV
  • 1/35 WWII Eastern Front and Western Front dioramas
  • Wargame and tabletop scenarios — historically accurate German armor
  • Builds aiming for competition or exhibition quality
  • Multi-scale projects — works from 1/16 down to 1/72

Key features:

  • Reusable stainless steel stencil — 80 × 80mm
  • Authentic German ambush disc camouflage pattern
  • 3 variant options — pick single pattern or both together
  • Apply with airbrush for soft edges, hand-paint for hard edges
  • Clean with water or thinner

How to use:

  1. Apply the base camouflage colors first (typically dark yellow, olive green, red-brown)
  2. Once dry, tape the stencil to the model with masking tape
  3. Airbrush the contrasting color through the openings — keep distance moderate for soft edges
  4. Reposition the stencil and repeat to cover larger surfaces
  5. Vary the orientation to break up any repeating-pattern feeling
