We often use high-density foam for dioram bases or to model building walls.
The best and most convenient way to cut and shape pieces of foam is to use a hot cutter. This tool reaches the appropriate temperature to melt the foam and cut through it like a hot knife through butter, sealing the cut without leaving residue.
These models are available in several different lengths, and we also have two different plugs for them valid for the US or Europe.
