Most modelers, painters, etc. like to make their own mixes. Imagine you have to make a 70/30 mix of green and desert yellow to achieve a lighter green.

If you add the appropriate quantities of paint inside the bottle, -using our pipettes, for instance- you now have to shake them properly. If you still have the paints inside, you are in for a nice time spent shaking the bottle.

By adding one of the balls inside the bottle, you will have a solid element moving inside as you shake it, which will ensure a much better result in a much shorter time.
