SMD led lights for railroad scenery

SMD LED lights for adding working illumination to model railway scenery, dioramas, and any miniature scene that benefits from realistic lighting. Each set includes 10 pre-wired LEDs in your chosen size, ready for installation in buildings, signals, vehicles, and street lighting.

SMD (Surface-Mount Device) LEDs are tiny — small enough to fit inside building windows, vehicle headlights, traffic signals, and miniature lamps. The pre-attached enameled or insulated wires (length approximately 20cm) make them practical to wire into your layout without soldering tiny surface-mount pads.

Choose your size and color:

• 0402 (1.0 × 0.5 × 0.4mm): tiniest size — vehicle headlights, traffic signals, tiny indicators
• 0603 (1.6 × 0.8 × 0.6mm): small — building window lights, small lamps
• 0805 (2.0 × 1.2 × 0.8mm): medium — building interior lighting, signs
• 1206 (3.2 × 1.6 × 0.8mm): larger — main illumination, brighter scene elements

How to install:

1. Plan your power circuit — voltage and current needs
2. Add resistors if your power supply exceeds 3.4V
3. Connect cathode (black or gold wire) to negative, anode (red wire) to positive
4. Test illumination before final installation
5. Secure the LED in position with CA glue or hot glue

Note: Power source, resistors, and switches are not included. Verify polarity before final wiring — incorrect connection will not damage the LED but it won't light.
