RAY Studio EX Metallic Model Markers

Metallic finishes are the hardest thing to get right with a brush: the flake settles, the strokes show, and the panel ends up patchy. These markers lay down a dense, even, electroplated-looking metallic in one or two passes, straight from the pen, with no thinning, no airbrush, and no cleanup.

Two Tip Shapes

The fine tip is a hard 1.0mm point that holds its shape under pressure, so it draws precise lines along edges and panel breaks without splitting or flooding. The chisel tip covers 1.0 to 2.0mm and is the one to reach for on larger flat areas, vents, and thruster interiors where you want coverage rather than a line.

Colors

Set A includes five warm, green metallics: gold, red, orange, deep green, and light green. Set B holds five cool metallics: pink, purple, cyan, blue, and dark blue. Set AB contains all ten pens.

Finish and Durability

The ink is water-resistant once dry and grips plastic well, so edges stay sharp instead of rubbing back during handling and assembly. Coverage is strong enough to work over dark base colors, which is where most metallic paints fall down.

Good For

Gunpla edge and detail work, mecha thrusters and joints, weapon accents, figure trim, and any spot where you want a bright metal detail without setting up an airbrush. Recommended for ages 14 and up.
