Metallic color marker pen
Oil-based metallic marker pens that deliver a true mirror-finish chrome, gold, or copper shine — the kind of high-reflectivity metallic effect that regular acrylic or alcohol markers simply cannot achieve.
Where ordinary metallic markers leave a flat or dull metallic look, these oil-based pens lay down a highly reflective, glossy finish that reads as actual polished metal at viewing distance. Apply directly to plastic, metal, resin, or painted surfaces — no primer required on most materials.
Choose your color:
- Electroplated Chrome: mirror silver finish — chrome wheels, vehicle trim, robot armor, weapon details
- Electroplated Gold: bright gold finish — emblems, decorations, ornate details, fantasy and sci-fi accents
- Electroplated Copper: warm copper-bronze finish — pipework, mechanical details, steampunk and industrial accents
- All (3 Colors + 2 Replacement Nibs): complete set with replacement tips — best value for serious metallic work
- Replacement nibs A: additional nibs for extended use
Works great for:
- Scale model car finishing — chrome wheel rims, trim details, exhaust tips
- Gunpla and sci-fi models — armor accents, mechanical highlights, weapon details
- Fantasy and miniature figures — sword blades, armor edges, decorative accents
- Diorama industrial details — pipes, machinery, metallic surfaces
- Custom paint jobs — high-impact accent finishes on any material
- Craft and DIY projects — jewelry, decorations, accents on wood and plastic
Key features:
- Oil-based ink — high reflectivity and durable finish
- 3 electroplated colors available: chrome, gold, copper
- Works on plastic, metal, resin, and pre-painted surfaces
- Replacement nibs available — extends pen lifespan
- Apply directly — no primer needed on most surfaces
How to use:
- Shake the pen vigorously for 30 seconds before first use
- Press the nib against a scrap surface to start ink flow
- Apply in steady strokes — let dry between coats for maximum mirror effect
- For best chrome effect, apply over a smooth glossy black base coat
- Seal with a clear gloss topcoat to protect the finish
Pro tip: The chrome effect is most dramatic over a glossy black undercoat. Painting bare plastic with a glossy black acrylic base, letting it cure fully, then applying chrome on top produces the closest result to real chrome plating.
