Guazi Studio 100ml Model Primer Surfacer

A good paint job starts with the coat underneath it. This Guazi Studio primer surfacer lays down a fine, even base that grips plastic, resin, and metal, filling faint tool marks and giving your color something to bite into so it goes on smoother and lasts longer.

Key Features

Fine surfacer that levels light scratches and unifies mixed-media parts. Strong adhesion on plastic, resin, and photo-etch for chip-resistant color. Airbrush-ready consistency for thin, controllable coats. Colored primers double as a base tone, so black speeds shadow work and rust red sits under weathered metal. Each bottle holds 100ml.

Available Shades

Choose Grey, White, Black, Light Grey, or Rust Red to suit your undercoat and final color scheme.

How to Use

1. Shake hard for about 1 minute. The pigment settles noticeably in the bottle, so a quick shake is not enough.
2. Pour straight into the airbrush cup. No thinning needed.
3. Spray at 22~29 psi (0.15~0.2 MPa) with a medium paint flow, using light sweeping passes.
4. Topcoat after 30 minutes at room temperature (77°F / 25°C). If you plan to sand it, allow 3~5 hours for a full cure. Cold or humid conditions take longer; if in doubt, test on a spare part first.

Good to Know

A true surfacer: it is built to fill pits and repair small defects, so it dries with a slight texture that is meant to be sanded smooth before color.

Permanent once cured: it bonds with the plastic and cannot be stripped afterwards.

Cleaning: flush the airbrush with an airbrush cleaning solvent right after use.
