Drybrushing lives or dies on the brush. A soft round brush flops over and floods the edge; a stiff flat one leaves stripes. These dry brushes use a short, densely packed dome that holds its shape under pressure, so pigment lands only on raised edges, rivets and casting texture exactly where you want the highlight.

Three Head Sizes

No.4 has a 4mm head for rivet lines, tool clasps, weapon detail and 28mm figures. No.8 steps up to 8mm for road wheels, stowage and hatch furniture. No.12 covers 12mm and clears a whole hull side or wing panel in a few passes. The 3pcs Set includes all three.

Built for the Technique

Drybrushing is hard on bristles: you load, wipe almost dry on tissue, then scrub. The bristles here are set deep in a crimped aluminium ferrule so they resist splaying, and the head springs back rather than staying bent after a session.

Wooden Handles

Each brush uses a long turned wooden handle, balanced so the weight sits behind your fingers and the tip stays steady during light scrubbing strokes. The natural finish stays warm and grippy even with dry hands.

Beyond Drybrushing

The same domed heads work for buffing weathering powders into recesses, stippling chipping effects and blending pastel pigment on a finished surface. Clean with mild soap and reshape while damp; do not stand a brush on its head in solvent.
