When we use scribers, we usually hold them with our fingers, hopefully perpendicular to the surface.
This makes straight "V" shaped grooves.
However, if we want to make angled grooves, say with the shape of an inverted "7", we need something to guide the scriber at a particular angle.
That's where this holder comes in. Place the scriber in the guiding hold and tighten the nub, place it in position, and move it with the roller at the bottom.
