Photoetched brass sunflowers for 1/35 dioramas and vignettes — a complete sunflower in three parts (stem, leaves, and flower head) that you cut from the fret, bend to shape, and paint to recreate the dramatic vertical statement of a sunflower field at scale.

Sunflowers are iconic for certain dioramas: Eastern Front Russian and Ukrainian summer scenes, Mediterranean countryside, and any rural diorama where dramatic seasonal vegetation makes the scene memorable. The vertical height and signature yellow flower head turn a generic field into something specific and visually striking.

Works great for:

  • 1/35 Eastern Front dioramas — Ukrainian and Russian summer scenery
  • WWII Western Front French and Italian countryside scenes
  • Modern combat dioramas in Ukraine — sunflower fields as scene context
  • Rural pastoral dioramas — farms, countryside vignettes
  • Striking single-element diorama centerpieces — a sunflower as a dramatic vertical anchor

What's included:

  • Stem parts — vertical sunflower stalks
  • Leaf parts — broad sunflower leaves at multiple positions on the stem
  • Flower head parts — the iconic large flower with central seed disc

Key features:

  • Photoetched brass sunflower sheet
  • 1/35 scale — proportioned for standard military modeling
  • Multi-part construction — stem, leaves, flower head
  • Cut from fret with hobby knife or PE scissors
  • Bendable to natural shapes
  • Assemble with CA glue (super glue)

How to build:

  1. Cut all sunflower parts from the brass fret with sharp tools
  2. Bend the leaves to drape naturally from the stem
  3. Prime with metal primer
  4. Paint the stem and leaves green, the flower head bright yellow with a dark brown central disc
  5. Assemble: glue leaves to the stem at varying heights, then attach the flower head at the top
  6. Plant in your diorama base with the bottom of the stem pushed into the ground

Tip: Plant sunflowers in clusters of 3-7, not single isolated stems. Real sunflower fields are dense — single sunflowers in a scene look planted as decoration, while groups of 5-7 read as a real field.
