Cormake 1/35 Ruined German Bank Diorama Kit
A bombed-out corner bank makes one of the strongest backdrops a 1/35 armour or figure diorama can have: tall enough to frame the scene, ruined enough to explain why the street looks the way it does. This laser-cut kit builds the shell of a German city bank, gutted upper floors and all, with the curved glazed rotunda at street level still standing.
Size And Scale
Built up, the model measures roughly 36cm/14.17in wide, 31cm/12.2in deep and 24cm/9.45in tall in 1/35, so it works alongside standard armour kits and 54mm figures without looking undersized.
What Is In The Box
Laser-cut sheets in several materials: brick-textured PVC foam board for the walls and broken upper storeys, fibreboard for the rotunda structure, floors and cornices, and fine sheet parts for window frames, shutters and railings. Signage lettering for the bank facade is cut in as well.
Building And Finishing
Parts release cleanly from their sheets and glue with standard PVA or cyanoacrylate; no filler is needed for the main joints. The textured surfaces take primer, brick washes, soot streaking and rubble weathering well, so you can push the ruin as far as your reference calls for. Rubble, interior clutter and figures are not included, leaving room to dress the scene your own way.
