1/35 Photoetched Grill Mesh for Tamiya Tiger I's
Photoetched brass engine grill mesh in 1/35 scale — replaces the out-of-scale plastic grills on Tiger I tank kits with proper in-scale mesh detail, the kind of upgrade that separates a kit-standard build from a competition-level one.
Stock plastic engine grills are typically too thick to read as proper metal mesh — they look molded, not perforated. This photoetch set fixes that with brass parts at the right scale thickness. Designed for Tamiya Tiger I kits but also compatible with Dragon and Border Models Tiger I builds.

How to fit:
- Remove or cut away the existing plastic grill section from the kit
- Cut the photoetch grill to size from the fret
- Test-fit before gluing
- Apply small drops of CA glue around the edge to secure
- Prime and paint — typically dark grey or weathered black for engine grills
