1/35 German Soldier Cup & Canteen Hands
Static figures gripping nothing but air are the fastest way to break the illusion of a 1/35 diorama. This 3D-printed resin set swaps those hands for twelve German soldier hands already holding mess cups, canteens and enamel mugs, so your crew can take a break mid-scene without any scratchbuilding.
What You Get
Twelve individual hands cast in fine resin: six gripping canteens and field flasks, six holding cups and mugs. Each has a slightly different grip and wrist angle, so no two figures repeat the same pose. The set is catalogued as FG35043.
3D-Printed Detail
High-resolution printing captures knuckles, tendons and fingernails at true 1/35 scale, along with the seams, caps and canvas covers on the canteens. Surfaces come clean off the plate and need only a light pass with a sanding stick before priming.
Fitting and Painting
Remove the original hand at the wrist with a razor saw, drill a shallow locating hole and pin the replacement with 0.5mm brass wire for a strong joint. Cyanoacrylate or two-part epoxy both hold well. The resin primes and paints exactly like styrene, so your usual acrylics and enamels work with no change of process.
Scale and Compatibility
Sized for 1/35 figures and suitable for WWII German infantry, armour crews and Afrika Korps sets from any manufacturer. Parts arrive unpainted and unassembled.
