A water-based clear coat in a marker pen, for sealing decals and protecting paint on areas too small to justify setting up an airbrush. Uncap, prime the tip, and the varnish flows evenly with no brush marks and no thinning.
Key Features
Water-based formula that goes on milky and dries clear, so you can see exactly where it has been laid down while you work. It stays workable long enough to feather an edge, and it will not lift acrylic paint underneath the way a lacquer coat can.
Available Finishes
Gloss seals before decals go down, giving them a smooth surface and no silvering; matt is the final coat that kills the shine and unifies the look of the finished model. Most builds want both, so they are also sold together as the Both Pens Set, which is the best value of the three options.
