Electrostatic Cloth For Sanding Dust Removal

Sanding is an unavoidable part of scale modeling. We don't necessarily have to love it, but we have to do it nonetheless.

And sanding inherently means creating dust, no matter if we are sanding styrene, wood, or resin. And this dust has several drawbacks:

• It can affect the "biting power" of your sanding papers/sticks/sponges, especially at very high grits like those used for final touches and polishing.
  
• Dust, especially resin dust, can be carcinogenic.
• And of course, it's messy...

So, essentially we want that dust anywhere but on our tools or floating around our workbench.

The best way to make sure we catch something as small as sanding dust, an electrostatic cloth is a very convenient addition to your workbench equipment, especially if you are sensitive about your health.
