Border Models Tiger I Ausf E Early
This Border Model kit presents the Early Ausf. E variant of the Sd.Kfz.181 Pz.Kpfw.VI, best known as Tiger I.
This variant of the tank was produced in January 1943, and they were the first units to see combat. If you want to be historically accurate, the best theater to place it (and decals to use) are those fighting for Army Group North, near Leningrad.
The kit includes some interior detail (but not full), link-and-length tracks with open guide horns, several different turret bins and mantlets, and a generous supply of accessories. That includes unditching logs and barbed wire, as used by Pz.Abt.505.
It needs assembly using glue for styrene, and painting.
We have to prepare each shipment individually as they are ordered, so allow us in 3-4 weeks for it to arrive in the USA/Canada (to be safe) and 3-6 weeks rest of the world, though they are usually delivered much faster.
