White marks where parts were cut
Usually: Usually a one-bite flush cut. Cut twice: first a few mm out, then close with a thin or single-blade nipper; shave and sand #400 → #1500.

Seams that keep coming back
Usually: Filler shrinks if you sand it before it cures. Fill, wait the full cure, sand, then prime to check. Tinted CA shows exactly what is left.

Decals silvering
Usually: Air trapped under the film on matt paint. Gloss coat first; press the water out from the centre. A softening brush helps on curves.

Paint lifting with the tape
Usually: Grease or mould release under the paint, or tape too sticky. Wash parts before priming; use low-tack tape and pull it back on itself.

Paint bleeding under masking
Usually: Edges not burnished, or tape too stiff for the curve. Thin flexible tape on curves; burnish the edge with a toothpick.

Fogged clear parts
Usually: CA vapour. Glue clear parts with UV glue in small amounts, and let the joint air.

Airbrush spitting
Usually: Paint too thick, a dirty or bent needle tip, or pressure too low for the mix. Thin a little, clean the tip, raise pressure in small steps.

Dust in the varnish
Usually: Spraying in a dusty room or touching too soon. Spray booth, clean air, a tack-free wait before handling.
Wash staining the paint
Usually: Wash on matt or unsealed paint. Seal with satin or gloss first; remove excess with a barely damp brush.

Grass that looks like carpet
Usually: One colour, one length, lying flat. Mix two lengths and colours; a static applicator stands them up.

Mould lines on miniatures
Usually: Scrape along the line with a scraper at a low angle, then smooth; check under raking light before priming.

Sticky resin print
Usually: Under-washed or under-cured. Gloves on, re-wash, cure as the resin maker says; never sand tacky resin.
