Cormake Static Grass Applicator & Tuft Plates

If you want to add static grass to your vignettes or dioramas, you’ll need a static grass applicator.

Sprinkle the static grass manually over glue it would just lie flat, which doesn’t look realistic.

That’s why you need something that lets you cover large areas and keeps the grass standing upright. A static grass applicator does exactly that.

If you’re curious about how it works, here’s a quick explanation. The applicator uses static electricity. You touch the base of your diorama with a cable that comes with the device, which gives it a small negative charge. The applicator holds the opposite charge. This creates an electric field, so when you apply the grass, it falls in a vertical position and stands up just like real grass.

You can use this applicator with 3-5mm static grass.

Hold the applicator about 2-3cm above the base when you sprinkle the grass.

The applicator runs on two AA batteries, which are not included.

We also offer two different models of metallic plates that can be used as bases to create grass tufts.

Warning: Do not touch the metal mesh with the cable once you turn the device on. Even though the voltage is low, it can cause sparks and you risk damaging the device.
