Photoetched brass set of slings, tie-downs, buckles, and equipment straps for 1/35 German WWII soldier figures — the fine in-scale detail that brings infantry figures from kit-standard to display-quality, where straps and slings have the right thickness to read as real leather and canvas rather than oversized plastic.

Real infantry equipment was held together with leather straps and metal buckles — items that at 1/35 scale need to be very thin to look believable. Plastic kit parts at this scale are usually too thick. Photoetched brass solves that — the straps end up at correct in-scale thickness, with crisp edges that paint up beautifully.

Works great for:

  • 1/35 German WWII infantry figure detail-up — Heer, Waffen SS, Luftwaffe ground troops
  • StG44, Kar98k, MG34, and MG42 weapon detailing with proper slings
  • Mess tin and field pack strapping for accurate gear loadout
  • Diorama figure groups — squad and platoon scenes
  • Competition and exhibition figure builds requiring serious detail

What's included:

  • Slings for German infantry weapons
  • Tie-downs for equipment
  • Buckles for straps and belts
  • Strap details for mess tins, field packs, and equipment carriage

Key features:

  • Photoetched brass — fine in-scale thickness
  • 1/35 scale — sized for standard military figure modeling
  • Variant LW35073 — comprehensive German infantry equipment set
  • Assemble with CA glue (super glue)
  • Requires painting
  • How to use:

    1. Cut individual parts from the brass fret with a sharp hobby knife or PE scissors
    2. Bend straps slightly to follow the curve of the figure or equipment
    3. Prime with metal primer or acrylic primer
    4. Paint with leather tones (brown, black) for straps; metallic colors for buckles
    5. Glue carefully with small drops of CA glue
