Dust settles into panel lines and recessed detail faster than anything, and a blast of compressed air just pushes it deeper. These soft-bristle brushes lift dust off finished models, out of cockpit tubs and away from sanding debris without scratching paint or snapping off fine parts.

Three Brush Options

The MS-82 is a small soft brush for cockpits, wheel wells and figure work where a large head cannot reach. The MS-81 is a large soft brush that clears a whole fuselage or hull in a few passes. The MS-83 shares the large head but uses firmer bristles that shift stubborn sanding dust and dried filler crumbs from textured surfaces.

Bristle Choice Matters

Soft bristles flex around raised detail and antennae instead of catching them, making them the right pick for anything already painted or decalled. The harder MS-83 bristles stay straight under pressure, so they dig grit out of tread plate, mesh and stowage without you leaning on the model.

Build and Handling

Each brush uses a lightweight lacquered handle with a crimped metal ferrule, balanced so it sits in the hand like a paintbrush rather than a household duster. Bristles are set deep in the ferrule and stay put through repeated cleaning.

Everyday Use

Keep one at the bench for a quick sweep between sanding steps, and one beside the display cabinet for finished builds. A brush also clears filings from a photo-etch fret and dust from an airbrush bay before you spray.
