Panel line wash goes on in seconds; getting the excess off cleanly is the part that decides how the model looks. These double-headed swabs give you a pointed tip for lifting wash out of a recess and a rounded tip for wiping a panel flat, so one stick covers both halves of the job.
Two Tips Per Stick
One end is drawn to a fine point that follows a scribed line without flooding the surrounding paint. The other is a conventional rounded bud for broad wiping, blending pigment and buffing off polishing compound. With 200 sticks in the tube you can afford to throw one away the moment it loads up rather than smearing dirty cotton across the finish.
Cotton That Holds Together
The cotton is wound tight and glued at the core, so it resists solvents and does not shed fibres into wet paint or leave lint stuck in a fresh wash. The stems are biodegradable paper rather than plastic, stiff enough to apply real pressure yet easy to bend for an awkward angle.
Beyond Panel Lines
Use them to apply and blend weathering pigments, to spot-clean an airbrush nozzle, to lift dust from a canopy before masking, or to work polish into a small area by hand. They also carry cement or thinner precisely where a brush would be too wide.
