During WWII railroads were critical in the movements of units from the rearguard or the factories to the front, or to relocate them from one combat area to another one.

The Wehrmacht employed several types of flatcars to transport their tanks, depending on their tonnage. This one is the largest one, capable of loading not only Panthers but also the heavier Tiger I's and even Tiger II's (King Tigers).

This highly accurate kit is full of details (including photoetched parts) like support cables and blocks, and space for the combat tracks that were replaced by special transport tracks during the journey.
