Rain-stained rust Stencils (Small and Medium)

Reusable metal stencil for creating realistic vertical rust streaks and rain-driven weathering on tanks, vehicles, ships, and industrial models. Recreates the natural patterns of rust running down from metal seams, joints, and edges when rain washes oxidation downward over time.

This stencil focuses on small and medium-sized rust streaks. For larger rust effects, pair with the large rain-stained rust stencil. 80×80mm stainless steel, works across all common scales.

How to use:

1. Tape the stencil in vertical orientation — rust runs downward with gravity
2. Airbrush rust-color paint (orange-brown, dark red-brown) through the openings
3. Position rust streaks below natural water sources: rivet seams, hatch edges, panel joins
4. Layer different rust tones for depth — start light, build up dark
5. Seal with a matt clear topcoat
