Water Simulating Transparent PVC Sheet

Transparent PVC sheets designed to simulate water surfaces in dioramas — the easy alternative to two-part liquid resin products that require mixing, careful pouring, bubble management, and long curing times.

Each sheet has a pre-textured surface in one of three water types: flowing water (rivers, streams), lake water, or still water. Paint your diorama base in the desired water colour (blue, green, brown depending on the body of water), then glue the PVC sheet on top with diluted PVA glue. The painted colour shows through the transparent texture, and the textured surface creates the realistic water effect — instant water in minutes instead of days.

Choose your texture:

How to use:

1. Paint your diorama base in the desired water colour (deeper colours where water is deeper)
2. Add pebbles, fish, or underwater detail before sealing
3. Cut the PVC sheet to fit your water area
4. Apply thinned PVA glue to the base
5. Press the PVC sheet into position and smooth out air bubbles

To finish a waterside scene, combine with our reed grass for marsh and riverbank vegetation, and tree bark rocks for shoreline detail.
